All dog baths include
Bathing
All dog baths begin with hypoallergenic shampoo applied to the head and face, followed by a thorough cleaning of the body, legs, and tail with basic dog shampoo. Your dog receives a comprehensive rinse to ensure cleanliness.
Fur Maintenance and Pawdicures
After the bath, your dog moves to the grooming table for drying and fluffing using a high velocity dryer. This process helps release the undercoat and exfoliate dry or dead skin. Once dry, brushing, nails clipping, and ear cleaning commence.

Following grooming, your dog enjoys a gentle spritz of light cologne and a comforting scratch behind the ears. They return to you with a wagging tail and a detailed grooming recap.
Nail Trimming
Trimming your dog’s nails regularly shows love and care, which is crucial for their hygiene and comfort. Overgrown nails can cause pain and affect your dog’s mobility, leading to posture problems and difficulty walking.
Long nails can lead to pain and serious issues, affecting your dog’s spine and posture over time. They may have trouble walking and risk injury if nails curl into the paw pad or break, especially if they touch the ground.
Dakota can advise on using clippers or a Dremel for nail care, considering noise and vibration sensitivity. If unsure, consulting Dakota ensures the best nail-trimming choice for your dog’s well-being.
Pricing
Pricing is estimated by multiple factors: breed, size, coat/condition of coat (matting, fleas, special shampoos, etc.) dog behavior and requested pickup/drop off to specific locations. No dog and household are the same. Dakota puts the work into making sure you get the best service personally structured around your dog and its daily life. Dakota can give an estimated range after learning about your dog, but prices will be finalized at the end of the first groom.
